Ways to Exfoliate Your Face at Home

download-26Makeup sure does make one’s skin look flawless. But what about having a flawless skin naturally? Facials and massages do yield good results. However, the fact is that such treatments are expensive. But the good news is that there are a number of home remedies for natural skin care. Apart from good food habits, regular skin care at home is the best way of having a naturally glowing skin. One of the aspects of skin care is to exfoliate the skin regularly. Here is how we can exfoliate our face at home.

Benefits of Exfoliation
Exfoliation is the process by which dead skin cells are removed from the surface. The result is that the younger skin layers that lie below the layer of dead skin are brought to the surface. This undoubtedly gives the skin a younger look. Secondly the process also increases supply of blood and nutrients to the facial skin. Exfoliating the skin reduces the fine lines that ultimately result in wrinkles.

The Procedure
One can’t just start off by rubbing the exfoliator directly on the skin. First tie your hair back or put a headband so that the hair does not fall on the face while you exfoliate the skin. Then follow the steps that are given below to get the best results.

Cleanse
The first step of exfoliating skin at home is to clean the face. Take some cleanser on your fingertips and rub it all over your face and neck. Use a cleanser that best suits your skin type. Wash the cleanser off with cold water or lukewarm water. Avoid water that is too hot or too cold.

Exfoliate
Wet a washcloth and squeeze out some exfoliating face wash on it. Now with gentle circular motions, rub the exfoliator over your face and neck.

Steam
Although this step is not compulsory, using steam cleans the pores and ensures better cleaning of the skin. Some herbs can also be added to the water for greater benefits. Once the steaming is done, rinse the face with warm water and then pat it dry.

Moisturize
Remember to moisturize your face and neck after the exfoliating as this process may cause the skin to dry.

Homemade Scrub
Ready-made skin care products can be used. Alternatively one can use one of the following homemade exfoliating scrubs.

  • Oatmeal Scrub: It is made from mixing 2 tablespoons of oatmeal, 1/4 cup of fullers earth and 1/4 cup of dried orange peel. Add some water and make a smooth paste to use it as a face scrub.
  • Oats and Basil Oil Scrub: Grind some raw oats. Mix it with 2 teaspoons of honey, basil oil and apple cider vinegar to make a natural exfoliating scrub for the face.
  • Honey Scrub: Mix 1 tablespoon of honey, 2 tablespoons of finely ground almond paste and 1 teaspoon of lemon juice for an effective, homemade scrub for proper facial skin care.

Considerations

  • Do not overdo face exfoliation at home. Once or at the most twice a week is enough to have a naturally healthy skin.
  • Be gentle while rubbing the exfoliator, specially if the exfoliating substance has coarse granules.
  • Do not exfoliate if there is acne on the skin. Wait for it to clear out.
  • Do not exfoliate the skin if there are cuts, rashes or sunburns on it.

Given the hectic lifestyle and busy schedule, regular visits to the parlor become difficult for most women. So take some time out every Friday night and complete your skin care regime for that naturally beautiful skin.

How to Find Organic Cosmetics And Anti Aging Skin Care

download-25Organic cosmetics and organic anti-aging skin care products are key in keeping our skin, and bodies, healthy and beautiful. But they do more than that. Safe, nontoxic cosmetics keep harmful chemicals out of our bodies, our unborn babies, and our earth.

As mothers, our number one job is to look out for the safety and health of our children. But once we become parents our own health and well-being becomes much more important, as well. We want to be healthy and strong for ourselves and our families. And, let’s admit, look great too.

But with so many harmful ingredients in conventional cosmetics you are not doing yourself any favors by using them. Even unborn babies reap the damage of synthetic ingredients absorbed by the mother’s body. Hormone disruptors, like parabens and phthalates, are thought by scientist to cause birth defects in fetal development of males. These chemicals are found in many conventionally-produced consumer products, from sunscreen and skin care to makeup.

Organic cosmetics, made without the use of toxic chemicals, but pure plant extracts and other vegan ingredients, are the best choice for both expectant mothers and moms with kids of all ages. Mineral makeup in assortments of brilliant color choices, smooth and creamy textures, and long-lasting effects keep you looking gorgeous naturally.

Swapping out those conventional skin care products for non-toxic organic anti aging skin care is better for your skin and keeps nasty synthetics out of our environment. Organic anti-aging ingredients obtained from plants and other natural sources protect from free radical and environmental damage for a healthy, youthful complexion.

Take a tip from expectant mother Alicia Silverstone who uses non-toxic, vegan skin care and cosmetics herself. Alicia knows that using healthy products is best for her unborn baby and keeps harmful ingredients out of our waterways, air, and earth.

You can maintain your good health, great looks, and protect the health of your growing baby by using organic cosmetics and skin care products made with nontoxic, vegan ingredients. They are the best choice for you and your growing family.

Finding Facial Skin Care for Men

Gone are the days (hopefully) when facial skin care was a woman’s arena. Who connected facial skin care with a feminine trait, anyway? I dunno. Don’t men have faces and don’t they need to care for them too? Sure they do. If we come up from these baseless ‘expectations’ that society places on men and expects them to be all rugged and rough and not care about their facial skin, then there is actually a chance of making a handsome face happen. I don’t say you turn into a quintessential metrosexual male and sit at a salon with goop over your face, but you’ve got to agree that there is no harm in administering effective facial skin care and having a face that is healthy and glowing. If you’re worried about your image, then let’s just say that no one has asked you to go flaunting on the street with the same goop plastered on your face, you can do this in the privacy of your own home. Moving on, I’d suggest you read this article on what men’s facial care involves and what one is supposed to be looking into for the same. Visit Obat Pembesar Penis for men vitality

Natural Skin Care

Essentially the tips for facial care for both men and women remain the same. All that changes is the fact that men have tougher skin, so the products that are used for men are slightly stronger, with more concentrate. Let us look at what a daily skin care routine should involve and how to get perfect skin with the help of these tips. also read Pembesar Penis for men

Daily Skin Care Routine
You’ve heard of it haven’t you cleansing-toning-moisturizing? Perfect. Now all you have to do is follow it! Not convinced? I’ll tell you what, after a day of work, simply come home, wet a piece of cotton and run it over your face. You’ll see a lot of grime and soot there. If you don’t clean this grime and dirt it’ll lead to acne and a dull looking face. That is why cleansing becomes important. Use a cleanser to wipe your face of the dirt, then use a face wash (never soap) to wash your face. After that is done, use a toner to close the open pores (very, very important) and then finish the routine by using the best face moisturizer for men. A skin moisturizer will ensure that the lost moisture has been restored and it does not lead to stretching of skin which causes peeling and wrinkles. This is especially important for men after shaving cause shaving leads to stretching and damage. please use Obat Pembesar Alat Vital Pria for make strong

Added Routines
It’s not enough to simply follow these three routines. One needs to use skin exfoliation as well. This means that you use a scrub to exfoliate the skin and get rid of the dead skin cells. This leaves the skin looking fresh and glowing. Do this once a week for best results. Other than that, facial skin care for men also involves the use of face masks to boost the health of the face. Choose any natural and herbal products for this purpose. One of the most effective way to boost skin health is to use sunscreen. This will protect the skin from sagging and looking dull and lifeless. One can also go in for facial massages as well as natural and herbal facials.

General Skin Care Tips
Along with these tips, here are some other skin care dos and don’ts that should be followed as well.

  • Drink plenty of water to flush out the toxins and keep the system cool.
  • Eat a balanced meal that includes more greens, vegetables and less meats, oils and spicy substances. This will ensure that the digestion is effective and no facial skin problems will arise.
  • Avoid smoking and drinking cause it will dehydrate your body and lead to dull and sagging skin.
  • Exercise daily to improve blood circulation and flush out harmful toxins from the body.
  • Do a colon cleanse once in every 15 days so that the system is cleared and it lends to a glowing face.
  • Ensure a clean scalp so that the shedding of dandruff (if you have any) will not lead to added skin problems.
  • Try to stay away from pollutants and overexposure to the sun.

And that’s all there really is to effective facial skin care for men. There is really no need to be overwhelmed by these tips. Start off slow if you think this is all too much to handle at once, but it really should not be neglected. In the end it is your skin and not ours that will benefit. So think about it and take care of your skin.

Sensitive Facial Skin Care for You

Sensitive facial skin needs extra care and attention. Skin care is essentially about your diet, exercise, and the right skin care products. Since your skin is sensitive it is more prone to breakouts and damage. Thus, it has to be well protected and looked after. Using natural products over artificially made cosmetics is the best way of taking care of sensitive skin. Since sensitive skin has fine pores and it tends to frequently develops rashes. Let’s take a look at some of the pointers for skin care that will help you restore its lost radiance and flawlessness.

Dry Skin
Since your skin is dry and sensitive too, the first thing it needs is hydration. Environmental pollution and harsh chemicals take away every ounce of moisture from your skin. The only way of replenishing it is drinking a lot of water and eating a lot of water based fruits. Every night, before going to bed, wash your face with warm water and use a good cleanser to clean out the pores. Wash it once again and apply an effective moisturizer to retain the existing moisture. Moisturize your skin immediately after your morning bath. Coconut oil, cocoa butter or Shea butter are good moisturizers since they are rich in vitamin A, vitamin C, vitamin D, essential oils, and protein. Avoid using makeup as far as possible. In case you do, remember to take it off before you hit the sack. As dry skin gets easily irritated, it’s wise to pat dry it. Include a lot of healthy oils in your diet to bring back the shine on your skin and take away years from it.

Oily Skin
Oily skin is characterized by enlarged pores. The oil on such type of skin is sebum, which is secreted by the sebaceous glands. Thus, oily skin is more likely to have acne, than any other type of skin. For sensitive oily skin, mud packs are the way to go. Sandalwood paste and rose water face pack, absorbs the excess oil from the surface of the skin preventing accumulation of sebum and acne. People with very sensitive skin must wash their face at least three times a day. Using anti-bacterial essential oils such as lavender oil can also help you get rid of blemishes and acne. Once again using mud packs such as multani mitti (Fuller’s earth) pack will suit your skin. For sensitive and oil skin, avoid eating junk and fried food. Watch your intake of sugary food stuffs too. Eat a lot of fresh fruits, vegetables, wheat germ, whole grains, beans, and nuts. Drinking ample amounts of water will assist flushing out of toxins, thus keeping your skin healthy and hydrated.

Makeup for Sensitive Skin
You need to pick the right cosmetics to avoid any kind of reactions erupting on your sensitive skin. Always conduct a patch test before buying any cosmetic. As far as possible, use only branded products. They may cost you a bomb, but it’s worth the price. Make sure you remove the makeup before you go to sleep. The best way of removing makeup is by massaging your face with a generous dollop of coconut oil. Wipe your face with a tissue paper to remove the makeup that has come off and then wash it with warm water. The oil will moisturize your facial skin and remove the unwanted makeup.

In an honest opinion, since you have a sensitive skin avoid using makeup or any other artificial product on your skin. Sensitive skin needs a little more attention than any other type of skin to retain its glow. So pay attention to keep the skin problems at bay and to bask in the radiance of a flawless skin.

Finding Dry Skin on Face

Most of us spend a lot of time on grooming our face. Being most prominent part of our body, it gets maximum attention and care. Unlike other body parts, face can’t be kept covered and so, it goes without saying that the facial skin needs extreme care for that perfect look. Well, even after taking the essential care, you might face some skin problems. Dry skin is one such common facial skin problems. Dry skin due to extreme weather conditions is quite normal. But dry skin on face that lasts up to several days and regular remedies work just temporarily, needs attention. Let us find out the causes and treatments for this skin problem, instead of getting worried when the daily moisturizer seems of no use!

Causes of Dry Facial Skin

When our skin is unable to retain moisture and the sebum level decrease, it becomes dry and patchy. This is often a cause of stretched, tight, uncomfortable and itchy facial skin. Especially the skin on cheeks and area around the lips becomes extremely dry. It feels soft only when you apply a moisturizer. Many a time, the well moisturized skin might again dry off and feel the same as before.

Dehydration is the most probable cause of dry skin problem. Dry skin occurs if you are not drinking enough water throughout the day or consuming excess caffeine and sugary products. Vitamin A and vitamin B deficiencies, unhealthy eating habits and low intake of healthy food also contributes to this problem. Remember that naturally dry skin needs more hydration and hence, intake of water plays a primary role in the texture of your skin.

Any type of facial cleansers, skin creams, make-up products and skin care products that you are using can be the cause of dry skin. If your skin is allergic to an ingredient in any of these products, the same can lead to skin irritation, dryness and itching. Moreover, if you spend hours in an air-conditioned room daily, you can possibly get dry skin on face. Apart from the aforementioned problems, genetic condition, hormonal imbalance or diseases like psoriasis or diabetes can also cause dry skin patches on face.

Remedies to Cure Dry Facial Skin

Firstly, drink a lot of water to keep your skin hydrated. Next, eat a balanced diet which should include fresh vegetables, fruits, grains, seeds, and nuts. Intake of raw food will help a lot. Foods high in sulfur, like garlic, onions and eggs will help you have a softer skin. Replace aerated drinks with fruit or vegetable juices. Completely eliminate intake of fried foods, soft drinks and other junk food items. Avoid alcohol and caffeine as they will make your skin look dry and dull. Chamomile or peppermint in tea, is good for treating dry skin problem.

Facial skin care for extremely dry skin is not just limited to application of moisturizer once in a day. You must wash your face 2-3 times a day, with a dermatological tested, moisturizing face wash. Follow each wash with application of a thick moisturizer with light massage. Also, add a sunscreen to your make-up pouch. Re-apply the moisturizer as required during the day. Exfoliating dry facial skin with a quality facial scrub, once in a week, is a good idea. Also, cleaning your skin and applying a deep moisturizer before going to bed is extremely essential and helpful to get faster results.

Avoid use of harsh skin cleansers and opt for olive or almond oil to cleanse your skin. Apply oil on your face, Rub a cotton pad to clean the skin and wash off your face with lukewarm water. Pat dry with a soft towel. Avoid using hot water for cleaning face. Remember, regular moisturizing is the key to get rid of dry skin on face. You can also use aloe vera, a natural cleanser and moisturizer, regularly. It removes dead skin, leaving your skin smooth and soft. Massage your face twice a week with olive oil, rose oil, sandalwood oil, almond oil, coconut oil or sesame oil to cure dry and itchy skin on face. These natural skin care options will not only give you a soft facial skin, but will also enhance your complexion.

You need to regularly follow the above mentioned remedies to get rid of dry skin. Moisturizers and water must be a part of your daily routine even if you have a soft skin. Make sure you also consult a dermatologist to ensure that this skin problem is not caused due to any disease or medication.

Ways to Find Best Face Serum for Your Skin Type

How is serum different from other skin care products? Well, serums are enriched with active ingredients that have a magical effect on your skin, acting as a solution for all your skin troubles. They can be oil- or water-based, and are rich in vitamins, nutrients, and antioxidants, that help rejuvenate your skin, making it healthier and younger-looking like never before! However, not every serum is the same, and they differ in their key ingredient and hence, their function. If you have a fair knowledge about the cosmetics market, or even carry out a little research on the Internet, you’ll know that there is a wide spectrum of serums, each promising to offer you a distinct beauty benefit.

In such a scenario, how is one supposed to know which is the best one for her skin? In other words, how can you be sure enough to go ahead and invest your money in a bottle of serum (note that these beauty potions don’t come cheap!) without worrying about having to deal with a nasty skin irritation and other side effects? Well, there is a serum for every skin type and for the most common skin troubles. So, depending on whether you wish to get rid of wrinkles and fine lines, or give your skin that tinted glow, you must choose your serum wisely. Here, we shall address them one by one.

1. Dry Skin

To begin with, a serum alone is not enough to meet the moisturizing requirements of dry skin. Hence, dermatologists recommend people with dry skin to use a serum as an addition to the use of a moisturizer. The best way to go about it is to apply serum below the layer of moisturizer so that it becomes easier for the skin to absorb and benefit from the active ingredients present in the serum, with the moisture level of the skin retained all the same.

Dry skin tends to get dehydrated, which means it tends to lose its moisture. Hence, those with dry skin should go for a hydrating serum that is rich in hyaluronic acid, which has moisturizing properties, or other similar ingredients that help nourish the skin.

2. Oily Skin

If you have oily skin, a serum can be a boon for you. Unlike moisturizers and creams that leave your skin sticky and oily, a serum is lighter and does not trigger the problem of clogged pores. However, never go for a serum with an oil base, rather choose a water-based serum instead.

If you’re troubled by acne, then opt for a serum containing salicylic acid or benzoyl peroxide. A serum formulated for acne, unclogs the pores and checks the growth of bacteria.

If you’re looking for a serum that prevents the signs of aging, such as wrinkles, crows feet, fine lines, and dark spots from appearing on your skin, then a serum that’s rich in antioxidants is what you should opt for. This would reduce the harmful effects of free-radicals on your skin, leaving you looking youthful and your skin healthy and glowing.

On the other hand, if you’re looking for a serum that will reverse the signs of aging, making the wrinkles and fine lines less apparent, you need a serum that is high on retinol, a powerful ingredient that stimulates your skin to produce more collagen. Collagen is responsible for the firmness of your skin and prevents it from sagging, and as your skin generates more of this protein, you revel in the beauty of your youth.

Best Skin Regenerating Serum

►► Estee Lauder Advanced Night Repair Synchronized Recovery Complex II
►► Olay Regenerist Micro-Sculpting Serum

How to Apply a Serum

So, you have a bottle of the serum that is best for your skin type, but what next? How do you apply it on your skin to get the best results? Just follow the steps given below.

►► Wash your face with a mild facial cleanser, or use cleansing milk.

►► After you’re done with the cleansing, apply a toner on your damp skin.

►► Now, apply the serum, and wait till it’s absorbed by your skin.

►► Lastly, apply a moisturizer to protect your skin from losing moisture. However, you may avoid applying moisturizer if you have oily skin.

While serums are great for your skin, and make you look gorgeous and youthful, you should refrain from using too much. Excessive use can cause skin irritation. So, have you found your serum yet?

Best Time To Use Anti Aging Skin Care Products

Many teenagers and young women in their early 20’s are asking when they should start using wrinkle cream or anti aging products.

There really is no hard and fast rule to this. There are a good number of reasons that you need to consider and think about first.

For example, if you have dry skin, are already showing fine lines or are genetically leaning towards early wrinkles, then you can start to use anti aging cream.

However, for many women (and men) at this age range, the best skin care thing that you can do to prevent premature aging. But wrinkle creams are not necessarily the answer to your wrinkle prevention regimen.

There are many things that you can do now that will mean a big difference on whether or not you get premature wrinkles or not.

Some Of The Things You Can Do Now

Good Healthy Diet
When we’re young, it’s easy not to think about eating healthy at all. For example if you’re in your early teens, living away from home for the first time can greatly change your eating habits. Food like unhealthy pizza, junk food or Mcdonalds are so much easier to avail of. You may not realize it yet, but this unhealthy diet will bite you in the long run.

Always strive to eat healthy food. Get yourself acquainted with fruit and veg that are high in antioxidants and are therefore, good for your skin.

Stay Away From The Sun
Hours and hours sunbathing, enjoying the summer sun, as fun as it is, is not good for your skin at all. If you must do this, make sure you’re properly protected. Also know that many sunscreen do need to be reapplied every few hours or so although you can now get sunscreen with 24 hour protection as well.

Moisturizers
This you can do at a young age and is a good wrinkle prevention regimen. I would advice however to use a natural organic moisturizer if you can afford it. You really don’t want to slather your face with so much chemicals at an early age.

Sunscreen…. Sunscreen…. Sunscreen
This is one of the most important aspects in an anti aging skin care routine. You MUST NEVER MISS this ever if you want to look young for your age when you’re in your 40’s. The sun, as good as a sunny day may feel like, is your skins worst friend and you don’t want to be caught without protection when it sees you.

Learn How To Destress
Stress can be a great deciding factor in how quickly we age. When we are under immense stress, the body release hormones which in turn contributes to the degeneration of our cellular functions. And once this happens, you can be sure that the collagen boosting function of the cells is greatly reduced as well.

This is why one of the best life skills we can learn, not just for skin care but also for our overall health, is how to destress. Learn how to meditate. Start doing yoga. Find a hobby or activity that can recharge your energies and make you feel good. All these things can help you destress when there are a lot of environmental stressors in your life.

In this way, you can help your body heal and it can recover quicker as well.

Ways to Make Homemade Natural Beauty

Quick Fact
People often tend to get confused between face packs and face masks.

Masks are nothing but peel-off products that are non-setting. They do not dry or harden on the skin, and are also applied for a longer duration. They have a gel or cream-like texture.

Face packs on the other hand are clay masks that dry after application. They harden after applying and need to be washed off. Face packs can be easily made at home whereas, face masks are ready-made products.
Beauty may not be just skin-deep, but it sure has a lot to do with the skin. Cleansing, toning, and moisturizing are, or rather should be every girl’s beauty mantra. As a result of pollution and other environmental hazards, one’s skin is constantly subjected to harsh conditions. Your natural beauty does not always have to be enhanced with the help of cosmetics and visits to the parlor.
A healthy diet along with a proper exercise routine and of course, lots of fluid intake, is the first step for naturally beautiful skin. In addition to this, your kitchen can provide you with various possibilities to make your own face packs, instead of using artificial products that are full of chemicals. Before we get into describing the various face packs that you could try out at home, here is something that you should know.

Skin Care and Anti-Aging Treatments for You

Anti-aging skin care refers to the slowing down process that humans go through. It also indicates finding a method to reverse the effects of aging. The idea is to increase or extend the life and youthful appearance of the skin. Aging is a natural process that negatively affects the collagen and the elastin tissues that are present in the skin. These tissues are primarily responsible to maintain the firmness and the elasticity of the skin. Due to aging and the constant wear and tear the skin starts to lose its elasticity. This in turn results in the loss of moisture and leaves the skin looking dull and dry. Other signs or aging are wrinkles, dark spots, fine lines and the likes

The manufacturing and supplying of anti-aging products related to skin care, nutrition and fitness is now a booming industry all across the world. The use of natural ingredients in the anti-aging segment is increasingly becoming popular and this phenomenon is showcased in the skin care segment as well.

Honey is a natural ingredient that is used extensively in the manufacturing of anti-aging skincare products. Honey contains an acid by the name alpha-hydroxy that acts as an anti-bacterial. This acid helps the aging skin retain the moisture content. Aloe Vera is another soothing and available ingredient that helps in combating the signs of ageing. Aloe Vera contains 75 essential nutrients that help in stimulating cell growth as well as repairs the damaged skin. Sugarcane is known to contain glycolic acid. This acid initiates the generation of collagen that helps in plumping the skin cells hence when applied on the skin straightens out the wrinkles. Glycolic acid effectively treats the acne formation. Green tea is a potent source of anti- inflammatory and reduces pores and the puffiness around the eyes.

Plant based essential natural oils helps in moisture absorption and retention without clogging the skin pores. Natural oils like jojoba or olive oil are known to have lipid profiles that are similar to the natural oil found on the human skin. The grape seed oil is an excellent source of antioxidant and allows the skin to absorb the nutrients, minerals and vitamins. This prevents aging and provides the skin with a radiant glow.

There are numerous easy remedies that can be made at home to cater the anti- aging skin care routine. In addition to all the treatments one needs to avoid smoking and drinking alcohol and also follow a healthy lifestyle.
